1. Creative stay at home mom jobs as a freelance writer.
This is one of those dream stay at home mom jobs for lots of women. I was interested in hearing more from a freelance writing mama, exactly how this works and how she balances everything, so I reached out to Lisa Tanner.

2. Teach classes online.
I recently learned about Outschool, a platform for teaching kids online (often homeschooled kids). You don’t need a degree to apply to be a teacher.
You need to be a resident of the U.S. or Canada and have an area of expertise that you could teach a class in (from video game design, to dinosaurs, to photography, and cooking classes, and so much more).
Teaching at Outschool could be one of the more flexible stay at home mom jobs as you would set your own schedule for your classes.

3. Sell on Amazon FBA.
I had a business selling used books on Amazon. The ONE thing I wish I knew about before I started was this course: Amazon Boot Camp by The Selling Family. They are super successful Amazon sellers, and will teach you how to make a great income selling on Amazon. Jessica is a great writer and teacher and she makes it easy to follow her blueprint. Plus they are an all-around nice family, the kind of people you would want to work with.

4. Freelance proofreader.
If you’re a grammar nerd and would love to get paid to read, check out Caitlin’s free workshop on how to get started as a freelance proofreader. Proofreaders can make up to $46 an hour.

5. Search engine evaluator jobs.

7. Teach English from home.
If you love kids, this would be a great work-from-home opportunity for you. You get paid well to teach English to kids from the comfort of your home.

8. Petsit with Rover.
If you love cuddling dogs or cats, you can make money petsitting through Rover. The pet can stay with you while their owner is away, and you would care for them, feed them, and walk them. And get paid! It’s pretty sweet.

9. Work for a call center.
If you are able to have some uninterrupted time during the day before the kids are up, or after they go to bed, Liveops could be a great stay at home mom job idea for you.
Liveops is a cloud-based call center, which means it is a call center where the workers are all remote. You can answer calls in your bunny slippers, and they offer flexible, part-time hours (or full-time if that’s what you’re looking for).

10. Test websites.
Another one of the more unique stay at home mom jobs is getting paid to be a website usability tester.

11. Get paid to take surveys.
My favorite (and legit!) site for getting paid to take surveys is Swagbucks. Swagbucks will pay you to take surveys in your spare time on your phone, and you can even get paid to watch videos.
With the videos, you don’t have to be watching intently either; you can have them running in the background while you’re washing the dishes, etc. It’s really easy.

12. One of my favorite stay at home mom jobs: Blogging.
Blogging is NOT one of those get rich quick side jobs for stay at home moms, but if you put in the work and the time, it has great income potential!
I make over $1000/month $3000/month with my blog, and I only have time to put in about 10 hours a week on it at the moment. That is an awesome hourly rate for something I absolutely love doing!

13. Sell printables.
This single mom went from homeless to millionaire by selling printables that she designed. It’s a pretty incredible story and I almost didn’t believe it when I read about Sarah Titus years ago, but it’s true and really amazing.
Designing printables can be a fun craft job for stay at home moms, and selling printables would be a type of passive income once you have everything set up.

14. Rent out a room.
If you have a spare room or basement suite in your house, rent it out through AirBnB. Have your guests help you pay down your own mortgage!
15. Craft jobs for stay at home moms.
Sell on Etsy! If you’re a crafty mama, you can set up an Etsy shop and sell your wares.
Consider turning your hobby of painting, knitting, making jewelry, forging iron (I was recently browsing forged iron pieces as a gift for my husband!), into a side gig.

If you know how to play an instrument, start a side hustle teaching others how to play the guitar, piano, cello, sing, whatever! Advertise in community centers, libraries, coffee shops, on Facebook, etc.

When you start on on Fiverr you probably will be charging at the lower end, but as your experience builds, you can charge much more. There are even people that make 6 figures selling on Fiverr!

20. Write an eBook.
