What Makes a Best Remote Job
The “best” in best remote jobs could mean different things to different people.
Some of these remote jobs are best because they are flexible online jobs, and so they might be the best remote jobs for moms who have to work around the schedule of their kids.
Other jobs in this list are top paying remote jobs.
Others still are best entry level remote jobs and best remote jobs with no experience.
It depends on what your best is when you are looking for a work-from-home job.
After I had my daughter in 2016, the best remote job for me had these requirements:
- Flexible
- Hourly pay
- Not selling anything
- Interesting
This remote job I ended up choosing (and I guess they had to choose me too lol) is working as a search engine evaluator for Appen. You can read my Appen review here.

Be Persistent When Looking for Your Best Remote Job
I run a private Facebook group for moms who are looking for remote jobs (join Work from Home Mom Life on Facebook here!) Sometimes women in the group get discouraged that it’s been a week or two of applying for remote jobs and they haven’t been hired yet and I get it!
I absolutely hate job hunting. In my past when I was looking for conventional jobs, I hated the cycle of applications and interviews. That’s one of the main reasons I started my own business (here are 18 small business ideas from home you can start this week).
But when looking for remote jobs, most people will have to apply for many before they get hired. Write an excellent cover letter and resume (use Grammarly to check your grammar!)
You can also boost your interview chances by optimizing your resume and LinkedIn profile for your next job by using Jobscan- try it here.
And then be persistent when applying for remote jobs – just like you have to be with in-person jobs.
