1. Is it worth it to start selling on Amazon?
Does $100,000+ dollars a year seem worth it to you?
Though that income is by no means guaranteed or even average when you sell on Amazon, there are many 6-figure Amazon sellers (here’s an interview with one).
Like other legitimate work-from-home businesses, you have to work hard.
Just like blogging, many people give up WAY too soon.
Before they see the income they desire.
If you know you will stay committed, learn from others who are further along, and won’t give up, then yes it’s worth it to start selling on Amazon.
Ultimately, only you can decide that.
2. What is the most profitable way to sell on Amazon?
For beginners, the best way to sell on Amazon is through Amazon FBA.
Amazon FBA means fulfilled by Amazon, and for a small fee they will take care of a lot of the steps.
The other main way to sell is Amazon fulfilled by merchant (Amazon FBM).
Even though there is a fee with FBA, using Amazon FBA will eliminate a lot of the beginner’s mistakes that are so easy to make.
This will make the whole selling on Amazon as a beginner process smoother for you and your customers.
Which can mean repeat customers and good reviews!
For beginners, retail arbitrage is the simplest method to learn.
From there you can add private label, online arbitrage, or dropshipping, which can be more profitable ways to sell on Amazon.
But I wouldn’t recommend beginners start there.
3. How do I prepare to sell on Amazon?
You are already taking a good first step here.
Gather all the resources you can and learn, learn, learn!
Like I said, there is a method and technique to selling on Amazon.
You want to learn from people who have gone before you.
Otherwise you will be making so many beginners’ mistakes and wasting lots of time (not to mention money.)
