Black Friday U.S. – It’s a Big Deal

To say that Black Friday in the U.S. is a big shopping day is a BIG understatement.

Black Friday is the second biggest online shopping day of the entire year (the top spot goes to Cyber Monday).

In 2020, $9 billion was spent on online purchases on Black Friday.

And more than a third of Americans do most of their shopping on Black Friday (reference).

This is all very interesting, but enough of the statistics…let’s move on to the fun stuff and the Black Friday deals!

I rounded up the best Black Friday deals for 2023! You can relax with a cup of coffee, and do all your holiday shopping ahead of time, while saving a lot of money. That way you can enjoy December, knowing you got all your Christmas shopping already done. You amazing planner and savvy shopper you!

One small disclaimer: everything in the list below was on sale and available when I wrote this post. The deals on some of the products below are so good, and there are limited numbers of the items, that some could possibly be out of stock by the time you look at them. This shouldn’t be the case with most of the deals, but I want to give you a heads-up about that, especially if you wait!

Early Black Friday Deals on Toys and Games for Kids

Princess Dress-up Set

I bought this princess dress-up shoes and accessories set for daughter about a year ago at full price. I still thought the set was worth it because she uses the pieces all the time still a year later, but I would have preferred to get the Black Friday deal on this.

Kids Camera

This camera for kids was another gift I bought full price for my daughter. She loves taking pictures around the house, she takes lots of pictures of our cat (lol), and she likes snapping pics of trees and rocks when we go on nature walks.

They seem to alternate which color camera is on the Black Friday sale, so just check that out if you’re interested in the early Black Friday deal.

Saucer Tree Swing

If you have space in your backyard, your kids will love this saucer swing. It’s big enough to fit 2 or 3 kids at once, and strong enough to hold adult weight, so you can get your kids to push you while you relax (ha!).

This wooden dollhouse would be a dream gift for any little girl (or little boy – this is Black Friday 2023 folks!).

I love anything copper, and these Moscow Mule Copper Mugs caught my eye. The copper mugs come in a set of 4, and include copper straws, and a copper shot glass. They come in a gift box and would make a great gift for husband or dad (or self or friend).

Robot Vacuum

I feel like I am one of the last people to have a robot vacuum. Having a cat that sheds fur all over the house, this iRobot Roomba would make a great gift for myself.

If you hate vacuuming, or want to cut down on the amount you vacuum, and especially if you have a pet, a robot vacuum would be a really worthwhile purchase.

Air Purifier

A good air purifier is not inexpensive. To filter out all the ickies (scientific term), you’ll want a high quality unit with a HEPA filter, and one that is the right power for your room size. I would keep my eyes open for early Black Friday sales on air purifiers to save a bunch of money.

We have three units – 2 bedroom units and one for the main living area. When you clean the filter, it’s amazing how much fluff and dust and cat fur it even pulls out of the air. I love my air purifiers! lol

Air Fryer

I know people who use their air fryer every single day. It really cuts down on cooking time (ie 8 minutes instead of 20 minutes in the oven), and it’s fun to use too!

Cordless Vacuum

One year for Christmas, my dad bought my mom a vacuum.

Aaaand…they are still together! lol

She actually wasn’t mad at all about the vacuum – she had asked for a high quality cordless vac on her Christmas list. If you love a clean house too or clean for stress relief (my hand is up!), take a look at the early Black Friday deals on a cordless vacuum like this one.
