Quotes about money

When I think of money quotes the first things that come to mind are songs – Can’t Buy Me Love, Mo Money Mo Problems and others.  I can’t say I’m too overly inspired by either of those to save money or make extra money.  But there are money quotes from well-known money gurus that I find inspiring.  Here I will share some of the best quotes about money I’ve found.

This post may contain affiliate links.  Please read my disclosure for more info.

I used to keep journals when I was younger.  Pages of daily writing about anything and everything, dream journals, and even journals with a tiny lock and key to keep my parents out.  With a preschooler, two part-time jobs, and blogging, I don’t have the time to journal like I used to.  I still love to keep to-do lists and love the satisfaction of crossing things off my list that I’ve accomplished.  I’ve even been known to add things to my list at the end of the day that I did that weren’t originally on my list, just so I could cross them off!

Bullet journals and keeping track of quotes on money

Enter bullet journals!  They are a fun, creative, and satisfying way to keep track of so many things in your life.  I love the idea of writing your favorite quotes down so you can flip through them when you need inspiration.  Even though I blog and like writing on the computer, there is something even nicer about a tangible book especially for keeping track of things like favorite quotes.

Lately as I try to juggle being a part-time stay-at-home mom, working out of the home, working at home as a search engine evaluator, and blogging, I’ve been thinking a lot about money.  How much we need as a family, am I making enough, can we afford if I work less so I can be with our daughter more, should I try to make more money.

I don’t have any final answer to this, but for inspiration I have been reading quotes about money.  It helps me figure out my priorities and just might spark a direction.  I want to share these saving money quotes and making money quotes to help inspire you in your financial life too.  They would be great to include in your bullet journal to keep you on track with goals like saving money, making more money, and getting out of debt.

  1. Good quotes!
The book that completely changed my way of thinking about money is “Your money or your life!” by Vicki Robin . If you haven’t read it yet I would recommend it. I have it if you want to borrow it Suchot.

    1. I have it and have read it multiple times! Love it and it totally changed my thinking as well! If I want to buy a non-essential I still automatically figure out how many hours I would have to work to afford that thing. It makes a lot of purchases less attractive! Glad you liked the money quotes, something different 🙂

  2. Melos Ajvazi

I find it special the first one

    Money often costs too much

I don’t know why, but I can totally relate to it.

The others, pretty much say the same thing to me. Like find a passion and make money with it.

This is true in fact. If your focus isn’t just money, in the end, you will achieve it.

That was true for me on my blogging career too.

  3. Congratulations Nicole! Your post won the Inspire Me Monday Linky Party. You’ll be featured on my site tomorrow.
