There is something so thoughtful about handmade Christmas gifts. These 45 DIY Christmas gifts are creative, easy to make, and budget-friendly. These easy crafts will show you it IS possible to make a homemade gift even if you are the least like Martha Stewart in your friend group. Bonus is that you can make these homemade Christmas gifts way ahead of time!
DIY Christmas Gifts – The Perfect Budget Gifts
I get SO excited about Christmas season from about October on.
One of my best friends from university used to listen to Christmas music to study for exams because it would put her in a good mood.
Christmas can be expensive but it doesn’t have to be. There are ways to keep Christmas simpler with frugal gifts and cheap DIY presents.
One of the most enduring gifts I ever gave was a DIY Christmas gift I made for my grandparents when I was in grade school. It was a wooden candle with a small wooden dowel stuck in the top for the flame, and a metal handle drilled into the side (I had help with that part!) I painted the candle red and the flame orange and yellow.
My family doesn’t remember what I got them two years ago for Christmas (to be fair, I don’t either) but this easy handmade Christmas gift still gets brought up from the basement and displayed each year.

Easy Handmade Christmas Gifts
There are so many creative DIY Christmas gifts you can make.
Since I am NOT a super crafty person (I don’t own one of these and won’t pretend I know how to use one), I enlisted the help of some wonderfully crafty online friends.
I love all the easy handmade Christmas gifts they contributed.
There are leather bookmarks, a DIY book page ornament, and teeny single use soaps shaped like Christmas trees (they are SO cute and unique).

What a great list of budget-friendly gifts to make. My favorite is the Christmas potpourri just because it's so versatile as to who you can gift it to - hostess, neighbor, co-worker, etc. I'm visiting from the Snickerdoodle Create Bake Make Link Party. I shared Dollar Tree gift wrap ideas #17. :)
