There are so many different jobs to choose from, you will be able to find a work from home job that is a good fit for you and your family.

And when you do find the perfect work-from-home job for you, here are 21 best work-from-home tips to help you be successful! You’ve got this!

1. Creative stay at home mom jobs as a freelance writer.

This is one of those dream stay at home mom jobs for lots of women. I was interested in hearing more from a freelance writing mama, exactly how this works and how she balances everything, so I reached out to Lisa Tanner.

Lisa is a successful freelance writer and virtual assistant and gives killer tips on freelancing from home.  Oh and p.s. this busy mama also homeschools her nine kids (!)  Read my interview with Lisa on how to make money freelance writing.

To learn EVERYTHING you need to know to launch your freelance writing career, I recommend this online course How to Start Your Own Freelance Writing Business. They have had well over 3,000 students and are rated very highly.

This writing course will teach you everything from how to market yourself and get your first client to how to figure out how much to charge clients, and MUCH more.

2. Teach classes online.

I recently learned about Outschool, a platform for teaching kids online (often homeschooled kids). You don’t need a degree to apply to be a teacher.

You need to be a resident of the U.S. or Canada and have an area of expertise that you could teach a class in (from video game design, to dinosaurs, to photography, and cooking classes, and so much more).

Teaching at Outschool could be one of the more flexible stay at home mom jobs as you would set your own schedule for your classes.

If you’d like to check it out, there’s an intro video here.

3. Sell on Amazon FBA.

I had a business selling used books on Amazon.  The ONE thing I wish I knew about before I started was this course: Amazon Boot Camp by The Selling Family.  They are super successful Amazon sellers, and will teach you how to make a great income selling on Amazon.  Jessica is a great writer and teacher and she makes it easy to follow her blueprint.  Plus they are an all-around nice family, the kind of people you would want to work with.

Oh, and their business makes 6-figures selling on Amazon, working part-time.  So there’s that!  Click here to find out more about their course.

4. Freelance proofreader.

If you are able to have some uninterrupted time during the day before the kids are up, or after they go to bed, Liveops could be a great stay at home mom job idea for you.

11. Get paid to take surveys.

My favorite (and legit!) site for getting paid to take surveys is Swagbucks. Swagbucks will pay you to take surveys in your spare time on your phone, and you can even get paid to watch videos.

With the videos, you don’t have to be watching intently either; you can have them running in the background while you’re washing the dishes, etc. It’s really easy.

12. One of my favorite stay at home mom jobs: Blogging.

Blogging is NOT one of those get rich quick side jobs for stay at home moms, but if you put in the work and the time, it has great income potential!

I make over $1000/month with my blog, and I only have time to put in about 10 hours a week on it at the moment. That is an awesome hourly rate for something I absolutely love doing!

Blogging is also creative, and fun, and flexible. If this is for you, you can learn how to start a blog in 15 minutes here.

13. Sell printables.

This single mom went from homeless to millionaire by selling printables that she designed. It’s a pretty incredible story and I almost didn’t believe it when I read about Sarah Titus years ago, but it’s true and really amazing.

Designing printables can be a fun craft job for stay at home moms, and selling printables would be a type of passive income once you have everything set up.

I created this pretty printable to-do list that will help you get organized! Oh, and it’s free! Get it here.

If you have a spare room or basement suite in your house, rent it out through AirBnB. Have your guests help you pay down your own mortgage!

Sell on Etsy! If you’re a crafty mama, you can set up an Etsy shop and sell your wares.

If you’re interested in craft jobs for stay at home moms, but you want to brush up on your skills (or learn new ones), check out the online courses on Creativebug.

You can learn photography, drawing, painting, woodworking, clay sculpting, crochet, knitting, jewelry making and design, and lots more.
